Three years of trying everything
I had psoriasis for three years. I tried what everyone tries — steroid creams, prescriptions, every shampoo and scrub that promised something. Each one worked for a week or two, then handed it straight back, usually worse than before.
What eventually cleared it wasn't something I found. My mum did. She came across a coal tar based treatment, and for the first time the scale started coming down and staying down.
Why we built Oran Skin
Coal tar isn't new. It has been used and recommended for over a century, and it is one of the very few ingredients that works on the process producing the scale rather than just the scale itself. It is also non-steroidal, which means there is no ceiling on how long you can use it.
So I built our own formula around it. Coal tar at 2% and salicylic acid at 3% — both dosed to work, not trace amounts added so they can appear on a label — in a base with urea, panthenol, allantoin, centella and chamomile, because skin that has been cracked and scratched for years needs rebuilding, not just treating.
Where we are now
Since then we have helped over 900 people worldwide. Every batch is produced under GMP and ISO 22716 manufacturing standards, and our formula is developed and reviewed by three dedicated R&D officers.
What we promise
We tell you the awkward parts. It smells like coal tar. It can stain sheets and light clothing. Flaking often increases for the first day or two before it drops. We would rather you knew that upfront than found out after you paid.
90 days to try it. Use it properly, and if your skin is no better, email us and we refund you in full. Keep the jar. Chronic skin conditions do not respond the same way in everyone, and we would rather refund you than have you keep using something that isn't helping.
